Your Second Visit to Our Honolulu Practice

On your report visit we explain what we found and how we may be able to help you.

Your second office visit will be building on the first.  Since you are new to many of the treatments, Dr. Gary will frequently ask you how each therapy feels and if the treatment made you feel a little better, worse or indifferent.

This is extremely important in developing a unique treatment protocol for each patient.  Since we are all a little different it stands to reason that different people will tolerate different treatments in their own unique way. You may be given additional home treatment guidelines.

Dr. Gary Asks some important questions of interest to Honolulu residents - Chiropractor Honolulu Dr. Gary Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
Where do most Honolulu residents get their first vertebral subluxation?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of vertebral subluxation. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Honolulu newborn.
