Your Third Visit and Beyond

Avoid relapse with regular visits.

By the third office visit you should begin to feel an appreciable difference.  If not, please discuss this with Dr. Gary as there may be additional testing and/or specialist referrals to look deeper into your problem. It's not uncommon for Chiropractors to order x-rays, MRIs, bone scans or vascular studies.  Chiropractors work closely with Orthopoedic Specialists, Neurologists, Physical Medicine Specialists and Physical Therapists to establish the "best practice" network for all patients.

Other referrals including Acupuncture, Massage Therapy and Naturopathy may also be appropriate for you to achieve optimal health.

Dr. Gary Asks some important questions of interest to Honolulu residents - Chiropractor Honolulu Dr. Gary Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
Where do most Honolulu residents get their first vertebral subluxation?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of vertebral subluxation. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Honolulu newborn.
