Your First Visit to Our Honolulu Practice

You will be warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. Help is on its way!

New patients often remark how “homey” our office is. That’s good, because our goal is to offer state-of-the-art chiropractic care in a comfortable surrounding.

Your first office visit will be quite comprehensive and may require up to one hour.  Please bring any x-rays or MRI studies you may have from your prior providers. Written reports are also helpful.

Orthopedic and neurological examinations may be performed so please dress comfortably.  In non-complicated cases treatment may be performed immediately after the examination and the doctor explains his findings and his treatment choices/recommendations for care.  At the end of your treatment you will more than likely be given home care instructions.  These are very important and are not optional.

Dr. Gary Asks some important questions of interest to Honolulu residents - Chiropractor Honolulu Dr. Gary Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
Where do most Honolulu residents get their first vertebral subluxation?
Being born in a hospital is a common source of vertebral subluxation. Trauma from forceps delivery has been replaced with drugs, vacuum extraction, Cesarean section and births that are "scheduled" to fit the workweek routines of Ob-Gyns. That's why we recommend a chiropractic checkup for every Honolulu newborn.
